What is Deluxe Facials?
A deluxe facial is a multi-step treatment tailored to your skin's needs on the day, combining cleansing, exfoliation, extraction where needed, and targeted masks or serums. It is one of the gentlest treatments in our skin clinic, well suited to regular maintenance or as a calming treatment on its own.
What's involved
What to expect
Your skin is assessed and the facial tailored accordingly — typically involving double cleansing, gentle exfoliation, steam, extractions if needed, a mask suited to your skin, and finishing serums and moisturiser. A session generally takes around 45 minutes.
Recovery
There is no downtime. Some temporary redness is common, particularly if extractions were performed, and generally settles within a few hours.

Risks and complications

- Possible breakout in the days following treatment, especially if congestion was present
- Reaction to products used — an uncommon risk, particularly in sensitive skin; patch testing can be arranged on request

How often should I have a facial?
This depends on your skin and goals. Many people find a facial every 4–6 weeks a useful part of ongoing skin maintenance.
Will extractions hurt?
Extractions can cause brief discomfort, but should not be significantly painful. Let your clinician know if you'd prefer them skipped.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Yes, generally straight away, though your skin may be slightly more sensitive for a few hours.
