Bio-Remodelling Injectable Skin Treatment

How does bio-remodelling work?

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin and helps it hold moisture. With age, levels drop. Bio-remodelling (also spelt bio-remodeling) places small amounts of hyaluronic acid at set points on the face. It spreads through the surrounding tissue, where it aims to hydrate the skin and support collagen and elastin. Unlike dermal filler, it isn't designed to add volume or change facial shape.

What areas can be treated?

Treatment areas include face, neck and décolletage.

Who may be suitable?

It may suit people noticing early skin laxity, dryness or crepey texture. It isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection, or are allergic to any of the ingredients. We'll go through your medical history at consultation.

What does a treatment involve?

A session takes about 15–30 minutes, with a small number of injection points on each side of the face and/or neck. A typical course is initially 2 sessions, about 3–4 weeks apart, with maintenance every 6–12 months depending on your personal goals.

Recovery and downtime

Small bumps at the injection points usually settle within 24–48 hours. Some people have redness, swelling or bruising. Most return to normal activities the same day.

Results vary between individuals and develop gradually over several weeks.

Risks

Risks include bruising, swelling, tenderness, infection, lumps and allergic reaction. As with any injectable, rare serious complications can occur. We'll explain these before treatment.
